2. Electric Motor : Use Electric for Motor
3. Manual + Electric Motor : Can use both manualized and Motorized

In Thailand Laos, Cambodia, for retractable awnings and blinds, electric motors, offering convenience and ease of use in this warm climate.

By the way, the electricity of some area not stable. And shut down for long time. We also have manual+electric motorized (two in one motor). With Crank handle to support.

The motor types ace of Shades Asia use:

1. Tubular Motors:

2. Smart Motors:

• Description: Equipped with Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Operation: Can be controlled remotely using a smartphone app and often integrate with home automation systems for voice control (e.g., Alexa, Google Home) and scheduling.
• Usage
  • Ultimate convenience and control.
  • Potential for energy savings through scheduling and automation.
  • Require a stable Wi-Fi network for remote control (Emitter) and smart features.

3. Motors with Sensors:

• Description: These motors come with built-in sensors for wind, sun, and sometimes rain.
• Operation: The sensors automatically retract the awning or blind in strong winds or extend it when the sun is intense, providing safety and energy efficiency.
• Usage:
  • Added safety by preventing wind damage.
  • Automatic shade control for energy savings and comfort.

• Size and Weight of the Awning/Blind: Larger and heavier coverings will require more powerful motors.
• Power Source: Determine if you have easy access to electrical outlets or if solar or battery power would be more suitable.
• Control Preferences: Decide whether you prefer a simple switch, remote control(1, 2,5,6 and 15 Channels), or advanced smart home integration.
• Weather Conditions: Given Pattaya, Hua Hin’s tropical climate with occasional heavy rain and strong winds, consider motors with wind sensors for added protection. Stainless steel, Aluminum components in the motor housing can also be beneficial for longevity in humid conditions.
